“In our March concert, it’s all about paper. To be precise: Music and paper. Cellulite paper, plastic paper, canvas. Japanese composer Toru Takemitsu wrote many works, amongst them music to 90 films. His “3 film scores” resemble three pristine Japanese haikus. Poetry in sound. Romantic. Melancholic. Visual. A Valse. A funeral procession. Another Valse.
