From the heartlands of Scotland and the musical metropolis of Melbourne, Good Guy Hank formed after a jam session at the Taybank music pub in Dunkeld in 2019. The trio initially bonded over their shared love of Hank Williams but their palette expanded as they began to introduce their own musical influences including Lucinda Williams, Calexico, Gillian Welch, Drive By Truckers and Nathaniel Rateliff into the group.
