From Aesop, a Greek slave who told his fables two and a half thousand years ago, through Coco, real name Robert Stephen, the son of a fisherman from Peterhead who reworked the fables into his native Doric, Stuart McGugan, who himself told over 150 stories while a presenter on Playschool, explores the roots of storytelling.
