"In memory of..." – that could also be the title of the final symphony concert of the season. Although it is sometimes questionable who or what follows the "in". Maurice Ravel is said to have been thinking of a Spanish princess when choosing the title of his Pavane for the deceased Infanta. Or was he simply concerned with the similarity of "infante" and "défunte"? We will probably never know.
