Resonant Pleading will feature music conceived amidst times of great personal, communal, or worldly hardship. The pieces featured on the program will be Anna Clyne’s emerging new work “Shorthand,” Faure’s vibrant Second Cello Sonata, and Samuel Barber’s powerful Cello Concerto. The performance is on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at 11am in Pickman Concert Hall at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge. I hope to see you there!
