CMH welcomes back by popular demand the Pavel Haas Quartet, as part of a special US tour. With five Grammophone awards under its belt, this revered ensemble will perform the rarely heard String Quartet No. 7 by Bohuslav Martinů, as well as Janáček’s String Quartet No. 2 (Intimate Letters), an emotionally impressive yet paradoxical work, sure to be flawlessly performed.
