The JSO teams up with the Jackson Youth Symphony Orchestra to present Mexican composer Arturo Marquez’s red-hot Congo del Fuego Nuevo. Decruck’s Heroic Poem is a work that the JSO recorded last season and features Michigan-native Leelanee Sterrett on French horn and Amy McCabe on trumpet from “The President’s Own” Marine Band.
