Enjoy the relaxing quality of Delius’s pieces, the delightful Latin rhythms of William Grant Still’s set of dances, and the musicality of HSO principal oboist Sarah Southard in the first half of this concert. The second half will delight you with Haydn’s playful and well-known “Surprise Symphony.”
