The Portuguese Fernão Magalhães leads a Spanish expedition that aims to reach the Spice Islands, located in the Asia-Pacific, sailing westward. To do so, they must find a supposed passage through the American continent to a new ocean: the one that would go down in history as the Strait of Magellan. Mistrust, betrayal, danger, fantastic and terrifying mythologies, hunger, scurvy, shipwrecks, desertions, battles, rebellion, successes and failures.....
