Rafael "Pollo" Brito was born on November 14, 1971, in Caracas, Venezuela. He is a renowned musician, cuatro player, composer, and singer, with a distinguished career promoting traditional Venezuelan music. He began his studies with the National Youth Orchestra of Miranda State, specializing in oboe, and later trained on string instruments such as the cuatro, mandolin, bass, and guitar.
