Katz Chair of Conducting Studies, the Colburn School’s flagship ensemble presents Bruckner’s sweeping "Romantic" Symphony: a vivid narrative of medieval knights, the enchantment of nature, and the thrilling drama of forest hunts. The program will also feature Salonen Conducting Fellows Aleksandra Melaniuk and Mert Yalniz, with Yalniz conducting the World Premiere of his own composition.

Jones/Arnie Zane Company remounts this timeless piece, celebrating its ability to evoke a spirit of survival. Created during the AIDS epidemic, Still/Here broke boundaries and exemplified a uniquely American form of dance theater, defining and ultimately transcending its era. Though much has changed in the world, with another pandemic behind us, wars raging, and environmental strife, the questions around mortality remain.
