Vivi(Opens in a new window) and her ensemble reimagine beloved songs from her upbringing in Shanghai, China, presenting them with intricate arrangements that draw on diverse styles from Latin America and the US. By blending classic melodies with jazz harmonies and Latin grooves, the performance breathes new life into these familiar favorites. The program also features the debut of Vivi’s original works.
