Nysted Orgelmuseum presents a very special family concert with the well-known musician and entertainer Sigurd Barrett. Sigurd is loved by both children and adults for his ability to convey music and stories in an engaging and entertaining way. This concert will be a unique opportunity to experience Sigurd's talented story combined with the 15 organs worth preserving in Nysted Organ Museum.



The concert will focus on conveying the fascinating history and unique sound of the organ to children and their families. Organist and folk musician Tobias Dahl Osenbrüg invites us into a soundscape where old dance melodies are given new life. With his own compositions, playful improvisation and fresh arrangements of traditional music, Tobias takes folk music on a journey – from the dusty sheet music books to today's sonorous and rhythmic universe.

Along the way, Tobias also shares compassionate and entertaining anecdotes that open up the history of music to the audience and shed new light on the origins and lives of melodies.
