Assistant Principal Cello of the San Francisco Symphony since 2007, Yang was born and raised in the fog. Part of his journey as a cellist was nurtured at Davies Symphony hall, where he was a member of the SF Symphony Youth Orchestra. Yang has been on SFCM faculty since 2018.
