In our 5th Philharmonic Concert, Sergei Rachmaninoff's orchestral fantasy "The Rock" will be juxtaposed with a new composition by Mikhail Pletnev. The contemporary composer doesn't want to reveal his sources of inspiration, leaving it up to the listeners to discover for themselves "what the music most suggests to them." This opens up new perspectives on our musical culture and the way we perceive music.
