With a special spotlight on the percussion section, the music introduces young audiences to the instruments of the orchestra, while vivid narration brings the farmyard adventure to life. It’s a joyful, family-friendly experience filled with colour, character, and creativity.

A Day at the Farm

The season concludes in grand fashion with Joseph Haydn’s The Creation, presented in collaboration with the Ottawa Choral Society, celebrating its 85th anniversary.

Widely regarded as a masterpiece of the Classical period, Haydn’s oratorio draws on a German translation of Milton’s Paradise Lost. Its 1799 premiere in Vienna was a sensation, and the work continues to inspire audiences with its sweeping vision and luminous music.
