This celebration of American legends features the Memphis premieres of two newly commissioned operas with words by Jerre Dye and music by Rene Orth and Kamala Sankaram: Love, Loss, & The Century Upon Us, celebrating Thomas Edison, and A.E. Reverie, celebrating Amelia Earhart. Additional music will showcase American legends from Susan B. Anthony to Walt Whitman and beyond. Featuring the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.
