This is music of existential importance that truly gets under your skin. The internationally renowned violinist Vadim Gluzman is the ideal soloist for this bravura piece. Brahms' Fourth Symphony completes his symphonic oeuvre. In his own words, he "wasn't at all eager to write a bad No. 4." And he wasn't—quite the opposite: the composer has created a milestone here.
