You are Sherlock Holmes. You have received a letter from a former acquaintance of yours, the famous opera singer Irene Adler. Usually a woman of great confidence, her letter sounds panicked. She has asked to meet you in her dressing room before she goes on stage at the Royal Opera House – her triumphant return to the UK after many years success singing on the great stages of Europe. You arrive at the dressing room to find no answer to your knock on the door. The theatre manager lets you in, where you discover that Irene Adler is missing, and there are a trail of clues to follow. Is this the work of the dastardly (and Sherlock’s arch-enemy) Moriarty – using Irene Adler to taunt the detective by kidnapping the one woman he’s ever had feelings for?
