Lea Desandre's luminous and graceful voice is a joy for opera, firstly baroque when she was taken on by William Christie, who discovered her in his Jardin des Voix in 2015, then Mozartian, notably at the Salzburg and Aix-en-Provence festivals. Thomas Dunford's lute is as moving with his inventive continuos as it is on stage alone. Their passion for baroque music in no way hinders their shared idyll for the repertoire of French song.
