The conductor and musicologist Peter Gülke is an institution. In a career spanning almost seven decades, he has held roles including chief conductor in Potsdam, Dresden, Freiburg, and Wuppertal, and professor of conducting in Bochum, Freiburg, Basel, and Harvard. Guest performances have taken him around the globe. And, not least, his numerous, award-winning music publications have made him internationally renowned.
