Monasteries were not only places of spirituality, but also cultural centers. They attracted composers whose music was preserved in the archives and passed on between friendly monasteries. In the 1960s, Robert Münster, then head of the music department of the Bavarian State Library, embarked on a musical treasure hunt: He rummaged through music cabinets and organ lofts in monasteries throughout Bavaria – with great success. In the process, he discovered true rarities, including works by W.A. Mozart. In our concert, you have the unique opportunity to experience further treasures from Münster's legacy live for the first time in over 250 years.

With their current program, "We & Now," Federspiel addresses the big questions of our time. On their February 2026 concert tour, they will perform in eight cities in Austria and Germany, inviting listeners to stop time with music, yet not stand still, with their light-footed virtuosity and touching compositions. "We & Now" – a musical appeal to tackle the challenges of our time together. Woodstock in Concert – a unique concert series focusing on wind instruments in the unique ambiance of concert halls and opera houses.
