"It's the music that counts," says Elisabeth Leonskaja, who always places her personality behind the composition and creates great things through music alone. Born in Georgia, then under Soviet dictatorship, and raised in the legendary Russian piano school, Leonskaja used a concert visa in 1978 to emigrate to Vienna, where she has lived ever since and from where she launched her career as a pianist on all the major stages of the (Western) world. ...
