Born in Georgia, then under Soviet dictatorship, and raised in the legendary Russian piano school, Leonskaja used a concert visa in 1978 to emigrate to Vienna, where she has lived ever since and from where she launched her career as a pianist on all the major stages of the (Western) world. ...
