Emanuel Blumin-Sint is a rising star in the classical music world. The 20-year-old bassoonist has already given solo performances at New York's Carnegie Hall and the Elbphilharmonie. He has collaborated with Sir Simon Rattle and won more than a dozen first prizes in competitions. In 2024, he was awarded the Fanny Mendelssohn Förderpreis, which enabled him to create his debut album, "Leading Bassoon." This record clearly shows that Emanuel Blumin-Sint is on a mission. He wants to bring the bassoon to create a new image, bringing the sonic diversity offered by his instrument closer to the audience.
