Opera Orlando presents Franz Lehár’s effervescent operetta The Merry Widow in an original production featuring dancers from the Orlando Ballet with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in the pit led by conductor Noam Aviel. A star-studded cast is headlined by soprano Sarah Joy Miller who was recently featured in the HBO series The Gilded Age. She sings the title role, joined by her husband, internationally-renowned Il Divo tenor David Miller as Camille and Grammy award-winning baritone Gabriel Preisser as Count Danilo. The Merry Widow offers a taste of genuine old world glamour, aristocratic reverie, catchy melodies, and of course the can-can.

Celebrate the end of Opera Orlando’s 10th Anniversary Season with stars from the Opera’s past nine seasons singing your favorite opera and broadway hits along with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and the Opera Orlando Chorus and Youth Company. This one night only concert will have you singing and partying along with selections from Rigoletto, The Magic Flute, La traviata, Carousel, Les Miserables, and much, much more.

A Decade of Divas

The 3 Baritones are back!! The dynamic trio of Brian James Myer, Gabriel Preisser , and Nathan Stark are back with new serenades, new hijinks, and maybe some new jokes for a special reunion concert. All three have been featured in past Opera Orlando productions and events including La Bohème in 2017 and The Barber of Seville at Casa Feliz in 2018. This season, all three can be seen in the Orlando premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning opera Silent Night in Steinmetz Hall.
