The Asian premiere of the concert installation 11,000 Strings by Georg Friedrich Haas takes the Ensemble to Hangzhou. The Basketball Hall of the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music will become a space for an immersive sound experience. 50 pianos and Klangforum Wien unleash a microtonal universe that spans finely spun motifs and thunderous roars like a force of nature.
