The Fine Arts exhibition was scheduled to open soon in the Concert Hall. All the artworks had already arrived. Fortunately, the artistic committee, alerted in time, was able to salvage them. However, the day after the fire, when the inventory was taken, one piece was missing. Staff members are adamant: none of the pieces remained in storage the day before. At the time, the police tried unsuccessfully to unmask the thief. A list of suspects was drawn up. But, lacking evidence, the case was closed. A recent discovery has reopened the case: an anonymous letter, authenticated by experts, was found in the Opera's archives. The director general has called upon the most skilled investigators to shed light on this affair. To maximize the chances of success, the scene of the theft has been entirely recreated in the theater, which was rebuilt after the fire.

Opéra Comédie

Witches, ghosts, and fantastical creatures are coming to the Opéra Comédie for a grand family event filled with thrills and festivities. From the incandescent passion of Khachaturian's Sabre Dance to the mysteries of Revueltas's Sensemayá , from the spirits of earth and fire invoked by Holst to the breathless chase in Bartók's The Miraculous Mandarin , each piece in this program opens a new door to the strange and the wondrous. Between frenetic dances, triumphant marches, and ghostly waltzes, the Orchestra summons the dark forces of the great repertoire… Come in costume!

Halloween Concert

This exceptional event brings together two choirs of young artists on the stage of the Opéra Comédie: the Busan Metropolitan Junior Chorus, coming directly from Busan, South Korea, and Opéra Junior, for a concert celebrating cultural exchange, sharing, and artistic dialogue. The young Korean and French singers will join their voices in a concert celebrating the power of choral singing as a universal language. This collaboration will continue in December, when the artists of Opéra Junior will in turn travel to South Korea, thus extending this dynamic of openness and artistic cooperation.

This performance celebrates an unlikely encounter: that of krump, an urban dance born in Los Angeles at the turn of the millennium, and ancient folk music from Galicia, Scotland, and Ireland. A clash of eras and bodies that bassist Florentin Ginot and dancer Germain Zambi transform into a vibrant dialogue.

Intimacy

The Opera Orchestra's Midday Music Concerts are always a great success with audiences. These short concerts (45 minutes to 1 hour) offer a musical interlude in the middle of the day. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, let yourself be surprised by the richness of the program!

Since 2022, the International Competition for Great Opera Voices of Africa has been discovering and supporting young opera singers from the African continent and its diaspora. A springboard for careers as well as a manifesto for diversity, it has already brought forth voices that major stages are beginning to vie for.

A cousin of the zither, the geomungo is Korea's noble instrument: six silk strings stretched over a long, dark wooden body, which is struck with a bamboo stick to produce deep, vibrant, and soulful sounds. Yoon Jeong Heo is its undisputed master. Musician and dancer, she embodies an entire universe where the purest Korean tradition is transformed into a universal language. A complete experience that reinvents the way we listen and feel.

At the Korean court

This first workshop will focus on the question of sight: how to approach dance without the eyes? Odil, dancer-performer, will share his experience and guide you in the movement.

Alongside him is South Korean pianist Sunwook Kim, a revelation at the Leeds Competition at 18, now a leading soloist, whose touch combines power and transparency. They tackle the same composer, Johannes Brahms, from two contrasting perspectives. First, the Piano Concerto No. 1 , an early work (1858): stormy, symphonic, almost a dramatic poem where the piano wrestles with the orchestra. A score born of despair, dedicated to his friend Robert Schumann. Then, the Symphony No. 2 , written twenty years later, in his prime. Here, everything is light, a pastoral atmosphere, a melancholic smile. The drama subsides, giving way to grace. From tempest to serenity: the same genius, two faces.

Le Corum

Bleu, le ciel comme limite (Blue, the Sky as a Limit) addresses a question that has preoccupied Julie Compans since her beginnings as a dancer: "What can a body do?", and explores our courage in the face of the living world. The audience discovers a new way of experiencing dance by observing the two blind dancers interacting with their environment.
