This unique concert immerses us in the fascinating world of pansori, a form of traditional narrative opera where a singer, accompanied only by a drum, brings to life an epic and emotional fresco. With an innovative approach, Ko Yeong Yeol pushes the boundaries of the genre by integrating subtle piano harmonies and a contemporary interpretation that resonates far beyond traditions. The show features excerpts from Chunhyangga, one of the masterpieces of pansori, a story of love and courage transcended by the singer's virtuosity. At the same time, emblematic folk songs enrich this experience, weaving a link between the past and the present, between Korea and the rest of the world, transporting the spectator into a sensory immersion where emotions mingle with ancestral sounds.
