Vladimír Franz (1959) is a distinguished figure in the Czech cultural landscape. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University while simultaneously pursuing private studies in painting with Karel Souček and Andrej Bělocvětov, and composition with Vladimír Sommer and Miroslav Reichl, as well as art history and music history.
