The Wailin’ Jennys began as a spontaneous collaboration between solo singer-songwriters at a small guitar shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba. What started as a one-time event quickly evolved into a renowned folk trio composed of founding members Ruth Moody, Nicky Mehta, and later, Taos-based Heather Masse.
