The Czech Philharmonic’s last festival concert this year will open with the overture to Smetana's opera The Two Widows. Together with French piano virtuoso Pierre-Laurent Aimard, the Czech Philharmonic will also play Ravel's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra in G major. The previous day’s performance of Slavonic Dances, Op. 46, will be followed by the second set, Op. 72.
