Much has been heard and learned about Johann Strauss II this year. This collaborative concert, in the year of his 200th birthday, focuses on the more and less familiar music of the celebrated composer and his contemporaries. Father and son's works will be interwoven with music by the child prodigy Constanze Geiger, the first love songs by Olga Smirnitskaya and Augusta Holmès.
