Journey through the expressive lens of the string quartet! Grażyna Bacewicz’s Quartet for Four Violins opens the program with a lively and modern twist on traditional form. Bedřich Smetana’s deeply personal From My Life quartet follows, blending romantic lyricism with Czech folk spirit. Beethoven’s luminous Harp quartet, nicknamed for its graceful, plucked passages, closes out the evening with warmth and elegance.
