This timeless masterpiece follows the tormented court jester whose desperate attempts to protect his daughter unleash devastating consequences. Featuring a traditional stage production, soaring melodies, and gripping drama, Rigoletto is opera at its most thrilling. Featuring a renowned cast, and the orchestra and chorus of the Light Opera of New Jersey under the direction of Maestro Jason Tramm.

The evening begins with The Princeton Nassoons, one of the world’s premier collegiate a cappella groups. Since 1941, their rich harmonies and engaging performances have wowed audiences globally, from U.S. presidents to schoolchildren in Hong Kong. Following are the equally talented traditional female Princeton group, the Princeton Tigerlillies whose unique treble sound are unmatched in collegiate a cappella.

Next, witness GIMME FOUR, modern barbershop harmony specialists and silver medalists at the 2025 Barbershop Harmony Society International Competition. Comprised of seasoned vocalists , Paul Franek, Dave Ammirata, Will Downey and Joe Servidio, GIMME FOUR delivers electrifying arrangements and fosters community ties through their passion for a cappella music.

A cappella Jamboree 2026

H.M.S. Pinafore is a comic operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan, satirizing the British class system. It’s filled with catchy tunes, clever lyrics, and a humorous plot. It follows the story of a naval captain’s daughter who falls in love with a lower-class sailor, despite her father’s plans to marry her off to the First Lord of the Admiralty. It’s a delightful mix of love, mistaken identity, and social commentary, all set to catchy tunes.

Its lighthearted humor and engaging story make it suitable for audiences of all ages.
