We look forward to immersing ourselves in diverse musical worlds under the direction of Susanna Mälkki – including that of Mozart, for whom play was an important part of his life: He particularly loved billiards and skittles, as well as chess and trick-tock – or he would sit at the card table and gamble with Tarock, Brandeln, Piquet, or Pharaoh.
