Everyone in Denmark knows Knud Rasmussen. Far too few know Arnarulunnguaq. The taciturn Greenlandic woman traveled with Knud Rasmussen on the entire incredibly grueling fifth Thule expedition, thousands of kilometers from Thule in Greenland to Nome in Alaska. They survived – thanks to each other.
