As the first ensemble ever, The Danish String Quartet will receive one of the world's major music prizes, the Léonie Sonning Music Prize, in 2025. Leading up to the award ceremony, the quartet will showcase its broad artistic work, including a music-dramatic concert at the Bellevue Theatre: I warmly press your hand based on Dmitri Shostakovich's string quartets and letters.
