The State

STATEN is not traditional theatre. There are no actors, no set design and no linear narrative. Instead, the audience is invited to perform live on location at site-specific locations in Copenhagen. Each episode contains personal stories from the state 's citizens across all walks of life – including civil servants, job consultants, bank robbers, migrants and activists – and ranges from the deeply personal to the systemic.
