Girls in Airports comes to Bremen Theatre with the string group Halvcirkel
For more than a decade, Girls in Airports has turned music inside out – from transcendent African rhythms and psychedelic indie surfaces to Nordic melancholy and the dream language of jazz, perfect for the late night hours.

Their distinctive sound has taken them on tour all over the world – from China and South Korea to the USA and Brazil – and made them one of the flagships of Danish jazz.

Lars Lilholt comes to Bremen Teater on February 26th
At Bremen Teater you can experience Lars Lilholt with his songs, spiced with stories and anecdotes from both his long career – and, as he himself says, his gradually long life.

The set list offers classics, but also the more unknown gems. In addition, there will be samples from the 2024 album Kosmiske Kindkys . It will not be completely solo, however, because Lars has his regular pianist Kristian Fogh with him on the tour.

Blicher Hemmer Gadd returns to Bremen Theater!
The three musicians Steve Gadd (drums), Michael Blicher (saxophone) and Dan Hemmer (hammond) have traveled the world for the past 10 years and visited countries such as Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Russia, Japan and most of Europe. Together they have released 4 albums and have received a lot of praise for their unique playing and catchy compositions.

American star guitarist Lee Ritenour comes to Bremen Theatre
American guitarist Lee Ritenour has cemented his position as a defining figure in modern jazz, fusion, funk and more over the decades. He has received a GRAMMY and 19 nominations and has a staggering number of collaborations behind him – with Pink Floyd, Herbie Hancock, Steely Dan and Chick Corea, among others.

Ritenour was also a co-founder of the pioneering fusion group Fourplay and can now look back on more than 40 albums under his own name, as well as contributions to more than 3000 sessions across a multitude of genres. His 50th anniversary album 6 String Theory also featured guest appearances by Steve Lukather, Neal Schon, John Scofield, Slash, Mike Stern, George Benson and BB King.

Over the past 15 years, the French/Lebanese Ibrahim Maalouf has made a name for himself in France and on the international stage with more than 19 albums under his belt, two Grammy nominations and a title as winner of the world's largest international classical trumpet competitions. Maalouf has also collaborated and performed with names such as Sting, A$AP Rocky, Angélique Kidjo, Melody Gardot, Kronos Quartet, Salif Keita, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Jacob Collier, Josh Groban, Marcus Miller and many more, while Jon Batiste introduced him as a living legend when they performed together on Stephen Colbert.

He has sung of the open country, the green grove – and you brought with you everything that was you. The words of the great Danish poets were set to music: Grundtvig, Emil Aarestrup, Morten Nielsen, Frank Jæger and more. Jan Toftlund was also set to music.

Erik Grip has been with us all the way – from the mid-70s to the present – ​​always with the same tone and sound of longing and call to do better. As he said in an interview when he turned 61: “It's about being loved and being touched. We need to be taken seriously, be clearer and be present."

Tunisian composer, singer and oud virtuoso Dhafer Youssef has made a name for himself across borders for decades with his fusion of Eastern musical traditions and modern inspirations. His dynamic, unique and captivating universe blends elements from Sufi music, ethno-jazz, new age and fusion jazz with roots in Arabic music as well as inspirations from both classical, electronic and global music.

He has collaborated with a number of renowned artists, including Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller, Markus Stockhausen, Dave Holland, Nguyên Lê and Rakesh Chaurasia, released a long list of critically acclaimed albums – including on the leading record label ACT, and has performed on some of the world's largest stages and festivals.

American singer, saxophonist, guitarist and songwriter Curtis Stigers looks back on a long and prolific career with millions of albums sold and a number of big hits such as “I Wonder Why.” He has moved across a multitude of genres – from rock, blues and soul to jazz, country and folk – and has collaborated with, among others, Al Green, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Carole King and Barry Mann.
