'Fugl' is a newly composed opera by Jesper Nordin, and is based on a true story from the composer's own family during World War II.

In the opera we meet the medical student Mina in a war-torn city. She is hit by a series of accidents that put her human morality to the test.
Milo and his wife Amsel find themselves in the same city. Milo is a priest and an idealist who dreams of being able to 'live like birds' in a natural and trusting way. However, this belief is put in danger by his actions.
