The Morelia Trio was formed at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in 2024 and has quickly established itself as a dynamic chamber ensemble. In 2025 they won the RNCL Nossek Prize and later the RNCM Christopher Rowland Chamber Ensemble of the Year for their performance of Smetana's Piano Trio.
