Jacob Cruz, a Los Angeles native, is a second-year master’s student at Carnegie Mellon University, studying with Alberto Almarza. He completed his undergraduate degree at California State University, Long Beach, where he studied with Dr. John Barcellona, Darrin Thaves, Dr. Jennifer Olson, and Diana Morgan.
