Join the Georgia Southern University Opera Theatre A for Enchantments & Deceptions, a spellbinding evening of operatic scenes where trickery, disguise, and spirits come alive on stage. This program, curated and directed by our new Director of Opera, Dr. Megan Barrera, and prepared in collaboration with our new Director of Music, Dr. Erin Palmer, showcases the talents of our opera students in a dynamic collection of works by Bizet, Britten, Donizetti, Humperdinck, Mozart, Verdi, and more… Audiences will experience scenes of mystery and magic, from the whimsical disguises of comic opera to the darker worlds of spirits and fate. Expect laughter, intrigue, and enchantment throughout the evening.
