Wind Symphony Concert

Titled What is a Wind Symphony, Anyway?, the concert will feature students in small chamber ensembles performing short pieces with no pause between selections. The audience will experience each section of the Wind Symphony in short musical vignettes that build to a dramatic full ensemble with Weinberger’s classic Polka and Fugue from Schwanda the Bagpiper. The concert is full or surprises and is organized to move quickly between pieces.
