Sam Grisman, raised in the vibrant musical environment of Mill Valley, California, grew up surrounded by acoustic music legends such as Doc Watson, Jerry Garcia, John Hartford, Mike Seeger, and Tony Rice. Inspired by these early experiences, he formed the Sam Grisman Project to honor the music that shaped him and to create a collective space where both performers and audiences can celebrate and explore the rich legacy of American acoustic music. ...
