Maria Lazar's novella "Two Soldiers" is being staged for the first time. Directing graduate Julia Gudi, in this world premiere of the Austrian author's work, thought to be lost, unflinchingly exposes how obedience , fear, and ideology transform people in times of renewed wars and societal divisions. It's a exploration that questions the true urgency of morality, responsibility, and humanity today.
