Austrian cellist Valerie Fritz combines classical and contemporary music with innovative concert formats. She is a winner of the Berlin Prize for Young Artists, a member of the NAMES ensemble, and this year an ECHO Rising Star. With self-designed programs and in collaboration with contemporary composers, she represents a new, unorthodox generation of musicians.
