Mozart’s familiar Overture to The Magic Flute and Beethoven’s Sextet round out a chamber program that also features Rachel Matthews’ Voices of Trees, which explores the clarinet’s tonal qualities, inspired by the idea that its music is like “the sound of a tree singing.”
