Come From Away is a powerful and uplifting musical based on the true events following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. When U.S. airspace was shut down, 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 passengers were unexpectedly diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. Overnight, this remote community nearly doubled in size, and its residents sprang into action to welcome the stranded travelers.
