Los Panchos (Trio Los Panchos) are a legendary Mexican-Puerto Rican romantic musical trio formed in New York City in 1944 by Alfredo Gil, Chucho Navarro, and Hernando Avilés. Pioneers of the romantic bolero, they are famous for three-part harmonies, the invention of the requinto guitar by Gil, and millions of records sold,defining the "trío romántico"
